I am soooooo thrilled to announce today that I was picked to be on the Clear and Simple Stamps design team! If you're not familiar with this wonder- ful company and their clean but oh-so-fun images, go check 'em out...like, NOW! Over the next couple days I'll be posting projects I made in answer to the design team call. I hope they'll inspire you to consider adding some Clear and Simple Stamps to your inventory! And please be sure to check out my side bar for a complete linked listing of all the CSS dt members...these talented ladies are sure to further spark your interest in these fantastic images and give your creative spirit a good shake-up!
My first project for the dt call was this altered Altoids tin gift-card holder (with a surprise twist!), and it features the "Make a Wish" set, which you can see in full here. I just HAD to incorporate my favorite phrase from the set in my design, and that's where the surprise comes in...BIRTHDAY CANDLES! Here's a look at the inside:
And here's the rest of the recipe:
Stamps: "Make a Wish" - Clear and Simple Stamps Ink: Staz-On "Timber Brown"; Ranger "Antique Linen" Distress Markers: Copic Glitter/Dimensional Paint: Ranger "Orange Peel" Stickles (applied to candle flame); Plaid Shiny "Brown" Dimensional Fabric Paint (applied to sprinkles) DP: DCWV "Nana's Kitchen" slab Decoupage Medium: Plaid Mod Podge (matte) Dies/Punches: Nestabilities "Labels One"; Marvy scallop circle punches Trim: Making Memories (green); Cosmo Cricket (red velvet) Misc. Tools: Corner rounder; paper piercer
Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back tomorrow with another creation or two...I'm so excited to be part of Clear and Simple Stamps!!!
