The Berry Bug!
Seems I've developed a thing for blackberries lately...saw a recipe in the latest issue of Southern Living magazine for Blackberry Cornbread which I hope to make - along with another SL recipe, Summer Iced Tea, which has a fun citrus/tropical kick to it - and serve to a couple friends on my back patio early next week (quick, before school lets out and the hectic summer rush begins and visits with grown-up girls will be few & far between!). So in honor of my blackberry bug, I just had to make a card to fit the mood! And no need to burst my bubble by telling me these are actually RASP-berries...I wish to remain in denial for the sake of my art!

This is my second card using the "Fruity Fun" stamp set, released last month by Clear Dollar Stamps. It's filled with all kinds of fruit, lots of coordinating phrases and of course, the requisite fruit bowl! And be sure to check out the Clear Dollar Idea Gallery for more card samples showcasing this and all of Clear Dollar's awesome sets!

Details for this card:

Stamps: Fruity Fun- Clear Dollar Stamps
Inks: SU Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Garden Green; Staz-On Timber Brown; Ranger Antique Linen Distress
Cardstock: SU Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Garden Green, Kraft
Punches/Templates: Marvy Scallop Circle punches; Martha Stewart Double Scallop edge punch; EK Success Scalloped Scallop edge punch; Ornare paper-piercing template/piercing tool
Embellishments: Offray ribbon; Stickles Lavender glitter glue; Barbara Trombley's Sea Sprite Vintage Glass
Misc. Tools/Supplies: Foam adhesive; paper distresser tool

I'll be posting cards using brand-spankin' new June releases from Clear Dollar real soon. In the meantime, check out my fellow dt members' blogs/galleries (listed in my sidebar) for their creative interpretations of these new sets. And you'll find the sets themselves available for purchase right now at the CDS webstore. Thanks for checking in with me & my ramblings!
